AuditionIT automatically queues up the wave files it finds, either as you change directories, through its recursive search functions, or through drag and drop from Windows Explorer (inc. CDRoms and Network and Removable Drives).

You can then sit back and listen to the files play sequentially, picking the ones you like or are suitable for the project you are working on, skipping the rubbish and selecting anything interesting by simply pressing the space bar.

When you have listened through, you can then recheck your selection, put them in loop mode to see how much work you may have to do to get the loop right and much more.
